The Water Warriors were National Finalists in the 2023 eCybermission competition sponsored by the US Army. Based on the quality of their project and plan to take their research further, they were awarded one of five STEM-in-Action grants. The team is continuing to refine and test their design towards the goal of a mass-producible atmospheric moisture harvester for use in drought-stricken areas like their native Sonoran Desert.
